8 Elevated Wayfair Home Decor Pieces From

8 Elevated Wayfair Home Decor Pieces From $12

I’ve lived in my pre-war NYC apartment for almost three years now, and although I’ve come to appreciate its quirks, I’m finally ready to give it a serious makeover. My first order of business is my living room, since I often host friends and family, and, thankfully, its white walls and wood floors grant me a blank canvas for lots of redecorating.

I recently added one of Joanna Gaines’ on-sale area rugs to create a chic and inviting foundation. Now, with a strict $200 budget, I’m focused on small additions to elevate my existing furniture pieces, such as touches of stone and marble, faux greenery, textural linens, and stylish lighting. Below, shop the eight decor finds in my cart, starting from just $12.

Although this on-sale scallop lamp leans into one of the biggest decor trends of the season, it still reads timeless and offers a dose of unique character. The asymmetrical ceramic base is available in seven color options to suit your space, along with lampshade choices between rattan, beige, and white. Wayfair shoppers say the lamp adds “a beautiful warmth” to their space, and is “a great size for a side table,” which is exactly where I plan on placing it.

It’s the little details that really add up to a luxe-feeling space, so I can’t pass up this now-$24 marble tray. It’ll be a striking coffee table centerpiece to designate as a catch-all dish for my TV remote, candle lighters, or even my keys. Plus, when I’m entertaining guests, I can repurpose it as a serving tray for candies, cheese, or other small treats.

There’s something so elegant and warm about an indoor olive tree, but I’m not ready to commit to a live one quite yet. This artificial option with an included pot “looks really realistic,” according to several fans, thanks to its natural wood trunk. It also takes up little space in tight corners, so I think it’ll be a great finishing touch to pull everything together.

Topfinel Neutral Decorative Linen Throw Pillow Cover, Set of Four

I have way too many throw pillows, and, to be honest, they all feel so blah. Instead of adding to my exhaustive collection, I’m opting for these throw pillow covers to liven up my living room seating. The set of four is made of burlap linen—perfect for a summery refresh—and features decorative tassels that lend even more texture and style.
